Yesterday the 1st Trophy Meet-up for 2024, in Kavala at the Chamber of Commerce took place.

On the important theme "Sustainable Agricultural Development & Growing Global Food Demand".

It highlighted again the need for innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector. We were joining the conversation and will summarize the most relevant highlights for you:

• Reminder of the drastic changes to expect with regards to the European Green Deal

  • reduction of fertilizer

  • reduction of synthetic amendments

  • prohibition of certain insecticides and herbicides

• Most farmers are unprepared for the changes to comes
